ROMA DALLA “DOLCE VITA” A “LA GRANDE BELLEZZA”

«La mail art (arte postale) è una forma artistica che usa il servizio postale come mezzo e crea un feed-back tra mittente e destinatario: si risponde in maniera artistica ad un inoltro artistico – senza questo feed-back non esiste l’arte postale». È uno dei più longevi movimenti artistici della storia e si è evoluta dagli anni ’50 agli anni ’90 a partire dall’opera di Ray Johnson, che l’ha codificata nel 1962 a sua volta influenzato da gruppi precedenti» (WikipediA. Dopo il successo della Mostra Internazionale di Mail Art sul Risorgimento Italiano per il 150esimo Anniversario dell’Unità d’Italia e quella allestita in occasione dell’Anno Costantiniano (organizzate in collaborazione con la GALLERIA VITTORIA) quest’anno, IL TEMPO LA STORIA, ripropone questa modalità di espressività artistica al fine di fornire agli artisti, anche esordienti, la possibilità di rielaborare, veicolare,simbolizzare il rapporto tra Roma e il Cinema dalla “Dolce Vita” a “La Grande Bellezza”, con ogni tecnica e su qualsiasi tipo di supporto.

REGOLAMENTO DEL CONCORSO

Il concorso consiste nella realizzazione di una busta artistica, al cui interno devono trovarsi solo le generalità dell’Autore. Le stesse andranno precisate anche nello spazio destinato al mittente. Ogni partecipante può proporre varie opere, nel formato busta UNI A4 Size (cm 29,7 x 21,1) utilizzando la tecnica espressiva che preferisce (disegni, dipinti, collage, fotografie, poesie, e tutto quello che la creatività suggerisce). In altre parole potrete acquistare una normale busta da lettera formato A4, dipingerla, scriverla, usarla come base per un collage, etc e inviarla a noi indicando il vostro indirizzo come fareste per spedire una normalissima raccomandata. L’opera d’arte non è più la tela ma la stessa busta!!!! Ecco qui qualche esempio:

Non si accettano lavori spediti via e-mail. E’ essenziale firmare l’opera ed usare il francobollo con annullo postale. Le opere di Mail Art dovranno essere spedite per posta raccomandata entro e non oltre il 30/06/2014 al seguente indirizzo:

L’unico requisito delle opere è contenere da qualche parte e in qualsiasi lingua il testo “Dalla Dolce Vita alla Grande Bellezza”.

La partecipazione alla mostra sarà gratuita per tutti gli Artisti che aderiranno inviando le proprie opere. Le opere saranno selezionate da una giuria internazionale di critici, galleristi e artisti che operano con successo nel mondo del collezionismo e della promozione dell’arte presieduta da UGO FERRERO.

La mostra di Mail Art realizzata in collaborazione con ROMA CAPITALE sarà allestita nell’ambito dell’Estate Romana 2014.

Le opere non saranno restituite e tutte quelle ricevute verranno veicolate anche tramite il circuito dei social e potranno essere “votate” dai visitatori, anche virtuali, della mostra tramite un’apposita pagina dedicata.

PARTECIPATION: FREE. Everyone is welcome to take part in the project.

THE ARTIST IS NOT REQUIRED TO PAY

Technique: free: (photography, painting, drawing, etching, collage, mail art boxes, artistamps, rubber stamps, mixed techniques, etc.) No organic materials, such and food, plants, etc.

Type: original art, no photocopies

SIZE : UNI A4 Size (cm 29,7 x 21,1)

Postcards will not be returned. No fee, No sale, No return. They will become part of the “IL TEMPO LA STORIA” collection at the ARTEA CREATIVITY LAB, ROME.

Place the envelope in your personal data, the title of your work, contact information, and possibly a brief biography and some artistic references.

Deadline: June 30, 2014.

The exhibition opening will be July 21, 2014.

The works will be preserved as a heritage in ROME – ISOLA TIBERINA and later will be exhibited in art galleries, museums and elsewhere will be required to spread this kind of art form and to promote the artists.
